firmTRAK will pull user data from CLIO during the integration sync. This data will be displayed under “Setups”/ “Employee Set up”. Click the gear icon to review.
Review each employee for proper assumptions for each category. These assumptions carry to the visualizations for productivity and other areas of firmTRAK.
Name: First and last name are imported from CLIO
Type: This field is imported from CLIO
Date of Joining: This field is imported from CLIO
Rate per Hour: This field is imported from CLIO from the user level.
Hours per Month: The default hours per month rate is set to 150 hours. This is based on a full time employee. Be sure to change for part time employees.
Monthly Billable Target (hrs): Our default is 113 hours, 75% of available. Adjust for realistic assumptions for your practice. CLIO’s own trend data from 2019 suggests that law firms only use ~31% of their possible working time on billable work. This would be ~50 hours a month out of 160
Included in Calculations: Select Yes or No. Inactive or users in CLIO that you do not wish to track should be selected as “No”.
Category: Select the most appropriate category for each employee
In order to update any of the employee setup options, click the pencil icon in the Actions column. Clicking the icon will activate the categories for editing.
